Cressall can supply the resistance elements that are used in all types of resistors that they manufacture. These are supplied as loose elements for customers or package as they wish.

Accessories are available which enable them to be mounted and connected to suit the specific application.

• RP coils
• ZC
• GP

The resistance elements mentioned above can be supplied with adjustor terminals which can (within limits) allow offline adjustment of the nominal resistance value.

• CC coils
• HP coils (three ratings)

Naturally these elements become hot in use, and must be mounted, connected and guarded safely and in compliance with the laws and regulations which apply where they are used.  Appropriate warnings should be prominently attached to warn of the potential hazards.
