These models are light weight (10kg) portable load banks for discharge testing of 28V and 50V batteries, fully adjustable from 0 - 3kW continuously.
Capacity DC110/3
0.6A to 120A at 20-28V DC, fully variable. Max 3kW. Sections of 0.6-5, 5, 10, 20 and 2 x 40A
Capacity DC70/3
0.6A to 70A at 30-50V DC, fully variable. Max 3kW. Sections of 0.6-5, 5, 2x10 and 2 x 20A
Controls
Integral control panel with hinged weatherproof lid with:
Fixed sections: 6 toggle switches
Variable section: 1 knob to control graded rheostat
Fuse: 1 Banana sockets: 2 x 4mm for output of shunt
Resistor Elements
Expanded mesh and mica card elements wound with high-grade nickel-chrome stainless steel resistance tape with 750V primary insulation.
Cooling
Fan cooled with two 170mm fan powered from the test load itself. The fans are mounted on one side of the load bank and blow horizontally through mesh screens on the opposite side.
Ammeter shunt
Rating: 100A = 100mV
Input cables and connectors
Two 2.4m 25mm2 flexible input cables complete with M10 lugs and quick-release connectors.
Case
All aluminium, finished in blue powder coat, with instructions and warning labels. The load bank is fitted with a detachable cover with carrying handle and built-in cable stowage box.
